Is education primarily the result of influences other than school?

When hearing the word education, most people will picture graduation, sitting in the classroom or basically something that’s only in the school ,but in reality you can get education from almost everywhere not only in school. Education is not only what is taught in school but also the knowledge that gain by doing extracurricular activities.[1]

We can see so many good examples of people who succeeded in life such as Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs or even Mark Zuckerberg and many more. None of them complete the full education from the school. However, they were successful in later life, even though their primary source of education wasn't school[2]. Going to school is just one of the way you can get education but there are also many other various ways such as internet and library,you don’t need to be sitting in class listening to what you don’t even understand but instead you go to the library searching and reading something that you’re interested in you will gain knowledge even more  than getting education in school.

Educations come in many forms for example that I experienced by myself ; playing basketball ,I learn how to dribble shoot or ray up the ball from the books and internet but those things almost didn’t help at all .What I should’ve done was just go practice in the court not just sitting on the chair reading something that you can only imagine how is it going to be like but instead just go in make some mistakes and learn from them to make things better next time .

Education is something that you can get from anywhere and anyone since you were born you educated yourself how to walk speak ,also you learn from your own parents when you are in teenager age maybe you join football team and try to gain full education of football by practicing every day , the classes alone in school would not be sufficient.

Character and success

Prompt: Think carefully about the issue presented in the following excerpt and the assignment below.

What determines success in life is not intelligence or talent, but character: those qualities gained both from living in an honorable and straightforward manner and from learning to deal with disappointment and hardship. Without character, an individual has no hope of true success. Even when competing against opponents of considerable intelligence or strength, those individuals who possess strong character will ultimately win.

Does a person’s character determine that person’s success in life? Plan and write an essay in which you develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience, or observations.

As mentioned in the prompt that without character we all will just be like a lost person who doesn’t even know why we were born, why are we even doing what we are doing right now.  So the answer is “yes” a person’s character determine that person’s success in life. [1]

                Character is what makes us human, without character we all are simply just like robots if a robot isn’t ordered anything it will just ended up doing nothing. [2] For most people their success in life is to be rich a millionaire, why? Because moneys can buy you and people you love a comfort, can help you get what you want anything. For me I feel like our world now a days is living under control of the moneys ,if you have money you can do anything  ,and this fact doesn’t need to be teach or tell you can see it every day in the world , social medias or even on the street as what Jean-Paul Sartre said “When rich people fight wars with one another, poor people are the ones to die” there are so many places for riches and so little for poor ,and I think that’s why most people’s accomplishment in life is to become rich. For me the definition of success is to be Happy and if possible I want to do something that makes people in the next generation remember me in a good way. And to be happy means to be living with the people I love that also love me back, doing a job that doesn’t make me feel like I’m working , good place to live good foods to eat and good friends .

Why do each people have different character? This question can relate to one of the biggest psychology issue, Nature Vs Nurture: Do genes or environment matter more? In my opinion I’d say both of them matter equally, they are what make us who we are today. Example like if I was born really poor on the street, being successful for me would means to become rich living in a comfortable place have no more hardship in life, but that does not apply to every poor people, some of them they define their success as to just live with people they love such as their parents, money is not a factor to live a life for them no matter how much difficulty they will have to face just be together with who they love is enough. Why is it like that? Because poor people wants to be rich; influenced by nurture or environment, but some just want to stay with people they love and treat them best ; having gratitude is caused by Nature or genes from parent to child. [3]

Everybody in the world all they want is to be happy; each person just has different ways to do it to succeed their happiness.  Or in another words everyone has the same meaning of success which is to be happy. But “There is no key to happiness. The door is always open, it’s our choice to enter it or not”.

Journal of Arthur Miller The Crucible

The story start off in Salem, Massachusetts ,1692 . The opening scene was Reverend Samuel Parris kneeling in front of his daughter's bed Betty Parris praying. Betty is in paralyzed state ,cannot move ,cannot speak  like a dead person but still breathing. The night before this happened the group of girls went outside to the forest doing some kind of ritual singing dancing and get caught by the Reverend which separated the group apart. After that many girls in the town are not able wake them up ,sleeping inertly including Betty. Reverend Parris was told by the doctor that the doctor can't find any medicine for this that weigh up a little more of witchcraft belief. Now he starts to suspect Abigail who was also dancing with the group of girls at night. Reverend Parris said that she is the one who conjure something unnatural and related with the witch but Abigail denies that she and the girls engaged in witchcraft.

In the past when people don't want to get into trouble they will blame someone who is lower than them like in The Crucible Tituba afraid that she will be the one who got all the trouble again because she's just a maid . Actually it's happening now adays too, when government do something bad they will put that bad thing on others just to keep their images good.
